Yana Barthel brings 20 years of combined experience in accounting and HR to Builders Vision.
Prior to joining our team, Yana served as a payroll and benefits administrator at Harrison Street Real Estate, an investment management firm focused on alternative real assets. Her expertise lies in payroll management, benefits strategies, and HR technology.
Yana is a proud alumna of Kursk State University, where she earned her dual Master of Arts and an associate degree in accounting. As a lifelong learner, she is always on the lookout for the next benefits trend or best payroll practice.
Her family is her rock and the reason she strives to be her best, both at work and at home; they remind Yana that every spreadsheet needs a little bit of heart behind it.
When she's not navigating the nuances of payroll, you can find Yana hitting the trails for a hike, practicing yoga, getting crafty with crochet, or lifting weights at the gym with her son. She is a firm believer in living a full, balanced life and always staying curious.
A first-generation immigrant from East Europe, Yana moved to the U.S. from Moscow seven years ago. Every year on October 6th, she and her family celebrate this incredible ride with a deep-dish pizza at Giordano’s.
