Ben Huang
Vice President, Investments, Builders Asset Management
Ben Huang is Vice President, Investments, at Builders Asset Management and oversees private fund investments, co-investments, and select direct investments.
He is responsible for aiding in capital allocation to best-in-class managers to drive long-term returns and advance the mission of providing for a more humane and healthier planet. He collaborates across the Builders Vision platform and with industry counterparts, seeking to identify outperforming, impactful opportunities.
Previously, Ben was a Senior Finance Manager at Landing, a Series C PropTech startup. Prior to that, Ben was a Senior Investment Associate at ICONIQ Capital, and he began his career in investment banking at Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler) covering Ag, Clean Tech & Renewables.
Ben earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Carleton College. He lives in Chicago and enjoys spending time with his wife and adopted Husky, playing tennis and golf, and attending concerts and music festivals.
