Ashlee Pinto Zurita

Ashlee is a thought partner, leader, strategic advisor, and problem solver to Builders Vision’s teams. Ashlee also manages Builders Vision's compliance program and supports Builders Vision in connection with legal matters related to operations, philanthropy, and other corporate matters. Ashlee expertly executes direct investments, including venture capital and growth equity investments, as well as ongoing portfolio company support.

Ashlee has a demonstrated history of representing family offices, private funds, fund sponsors, large public companies, and investors. She is passionate about the private equity and venture capital industry and enjoys advising market-making investors and leaders. Before joining Builders Vision, Ashlee served as Associate Counsel at Valor Equity Partners and was an attorney in private practice with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates.

Ashlee is admitted to practice law in New York and Illinois. She earned her law degree from Stanford Law School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from DePaul University. While in law school, Ashlee co-authored a textbook on property law in Timor-Leste.

Ashlee remains intellectually curious about tribal sovereignty and enjoys zombie and post-apocalyptic fiction. Ashlee is most often described as a fierce advocate, an authentic leader, and an excellent executor. Ashlee is steadfast in her commitment as a culture carrier and considers social responsibility a tenet of her identity and leadership at Builders Vision. She is devoted to creating a diverse and inclusive culture, and helped to spearhead internal programming around heritage months.

When she is not working, she is chasing her rambunctious and fearless toddler while baby wearing her six-month-old.
