Announcement

The Baumhart Center closely aligns with Builders Vision’s mission and vision and shares our belief that profit and purpose don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Builders Vision is honored to be recognized by the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility at Loyola University Chicago as the recipient of the 2024 Parkinson Award for Purpose and Profit!

The recognition was part of the Baumhart Center’s 2024 Innovator Awards, which celebrates organizations that are at the forefront of social innovation in business. The Parkinson Award is given to companies and organizations that are helping to demonstrate that profits and purpose don't have to be mutually exclusive, which is a critical part of the Builders Vision mission.

Builders Vision was honored alongside this year’s two other awardees: New Moms, a nonprofit organization that partners with young moms as they progress toward housing stability, economic mobility, and family well-being, was awarded the Social Impact Award; and Climate Vault, who works with organizations to reduce CO2 emissions and support innovation that can remove CO2 already in the atmosphere, received the Environmental Stewardship Award. You can learn more about all of the awards and the 2024 winners here.

President and COO Matt Knott accepted the award at the Baumhart Center’s Leading for Good conference on March 21, 2024 in Chicago. Matt was also joined by Builders Initiative’s Haven Leeming and S2G Ventures’ Arthur Chow for a deep dive breakout session focused on the impact opportunities and challenges in our food and agriculture system.

Thank you to the Baumhart Center and Loyola University Chicago for this honor and congratulations to all of this year’s winners!
